I could sense the frustration in Jimmy Nutt's voice.
Nutt, a recording engineer/producer/songwriter, owns the NuttHouse Recording Studio in downtown Sheffield.
I called Nutt to do some advance planning for a future Music Spotlight story on the release of The Fiddleworms' new studio album, which was recorded at the NuttHouse. I knew he had attended a Sheffield City Council meeting to ask about hosting a CD release party for the Fiddleworms at the Muscle Shoals Music Hall, which is adjacent to Nutt's studio.
